MISSIONS
Within Division, in charge of evaluating new projects (both exploration and production projects) and making relevant recommendations regarding the company intervention, the Reservoir Geologist mission is to:
Identify production projects for the company’s possible participation
Evaluate the reservoir and fluid characteristics for undeveloped and producing fields using most appropriate studies (reservoir geology, PVT studies….)
Identify and rank uncertainties
Guarantee the static model geological coherency. Integrate it in regional basin concept
Participate into the elaboration of dynamic model, validating it, Guarantee its geological consistency
Participate in and perform geosciences studies in accordance with professional standards, industry’s and the company’s best practices
Contribute to the company’s knowledge base progress; and guarantee new data or interpretation results, or new evaluation methods are preserved and made available to the company’s geosciences teams
ACTIVITIES
Implement, without supervision, the elementary techniques of reservoir geology and engineering related to PN activities (test interpretations, logs, thermodynamics...)

Ensure /Validate first degree interpretations and integration of acquisition data in a global and consistent vision of fields and of basins
Participate in / Conduct / Validate calculations of static model and of reserves estimations and production profiles (including their uncertainties)
Guarantee the validity of the data and the excellence of studies: check the validity and consistency of the methods employed
Built PN fields data base
Define required reservoir measurement (well tests, logs, fluids, cores), to characterize and predict reservoir behavior
Participate in analyzing and model the dynamic behavior of reservoirs
Define the studies that need to be conducted to assess volume in place and reserves of fields and contribute to their evaluation
Participate to multi-disciplinary integrated studies to evaluate production, reserves and production profiles
Supervise reservoir characterisation studies and reservoir modelling / simulation
Coordinate speciality studies
Participate into technical review of projects (data room and internal review)
Participate in /Conduct reservoir evaluations for prospects
[i]PROFILE/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED [/i]
The job holder should have:
A good knowledge and practice of well data interpretation techniques and methods (logs, tests, PVT)
Good Experience of well data quantitative interpretation
Knowledge and practice of oil and gas field evaluation, oil and gaz field development,
Experience of working with geological workstations
Have a fifth year University degree (Gubkin faculty of oil and gaz field development, Ufa oil and gaz institute, Tyumen university….)
minimum 5 years experience in oil and gas field production with Oil and Gas Companies, or Service Company or Petroleum Institutes, preferably in Western Siberia
Fluent in English (or French)
Willing to work in a team and have good communication skills
