Principal Accountabilities:

1. Provide required and agreed Technical Services within company (Russia, UA, BR, MO)

Provide ongoing technical support to Sales and key distributors in company to maintain and gain business and be actively engaged to support sales in order to meet agreed target
Correctly specify appropriate products to be used for specific applications (vehicles, machinery and equipment), including the specification of equivalent product to replace a competitor’s product, for all lubricants products
Problem solving, troubleshooting and application advice for ca.80% of all front line technical issues
Provide technical support during the market launch or re-launch of new products
Prepare customer plant / equipment audits, lubrication surveys, product rationalisation audits and conduct field trials, as necessary to support the overall business strategy
Provide HSSE product disposal advice to customers and sales, in line with local legislation requirements. Actively keep up to date with changes in legislation
Manage lubricants technical services such as LubeAnaist, LubeMatch etc. responsible for quality and efficient use of it
2. Contribute to Global Lubes Business Agenda
Use Technical Services as our edge in the sales CVP towards a speciality business
Provide Training for Staff, Customers, Prospects and Distributor
Ensure to obtain or update agreed Category 3 OEM approvals in cluster on named customer basis by allocating FLTS resources; support Cat 1 and Cat 2 OEM activities on request
Support / execute LubeAnalyst, LubeMatch and other agreed Services
Agree number and provide product application training to company customers, prospects, Sales & CSC staff and distributors
Liaise with Operational Portfolio Managers for product portfolio issues as appropriate. Manage portfolio harmonisation process at customer level. Assist marketing in implementing the core portfolio and withdrawing local company grades
Provide agreed number of DVR (demonstrated value records)

Job Description:
Co-operate with relevant Product Application Specialists to solve customer application problems that are complex
Transfer knowledge of customer applications & local field problems
Provide intelligence on new equipment & competitor product applications in their market
Run local field trials on new and established products to support Reasons to Believe
Feedback to PAS regarding:
Business justification (in support of R&D proposal)
Field trials
Technical trends
Competitor activities & customer

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


Minimum three to five years experience in a technical lubricants environment.
Have engineering knowledge in Industry or Transport, or related discipline
Good level English essential
Leadership experience preferred
